The Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami, is participating at the Forum on promotion of the entrepreneurship, production and Albanian products”, which is taking place in Shengjin of Albania.
At this forum are participating also the minister for Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprises of Albania, Milva Ekonomi, minister for Economic Development of Macedonia, Driton Kuqi, representatives of business clubs from Kosovo, Albania and from Macedonia. The forum are attending 15 Kosovo’s manufacturing company, 15 Albanian and 15 Macedonian manufacturing companies.
In her speech addressed to participants, minister Bajrami said that creation of an appropriate business environment it’s not an issue that remain with the countries boarders, and we as citizen are working to mag possible our products and services to move freely between our countries.
Further, minister Bajrami pointed out that it is challenging for businesses to operate in other competing markets of Europe and the region, and our countries must do more together to stimulate our manufacturers and boost their competitiveness. This can not be reached only by institutions, but also in cooperation with the businesses, so this should be a joint activity.
Bajrami highlighted that the Government of Republic of Kosovo has worked a lot during this mandate to improve business environment, and this has had a positive impact on increasing efficiency and in business performance. “Doors of the Government of Kosovo were opened to all producers; we have communicated and heard their concerns, and together we have solved and addressed them,” she said.
Mrs. Bajrami said that the best example in this regard is fiscal package initiated by the Ministry of Finance, and this fiscal package 2 contains 7 measures, while today, as result of our close cooperation with business community we have included 22 measures, which within a short period of time will be approved by the Government. “We are aware that there is not a sufficient integration of our markets; these processes took time, but on this are working relevant ministries, “stated Mrs. Bajrami.
Minister Bajrami encouraged manufacturers of three countries to work more and increase their reciprocal cooperation and this way increase volume of trade exchanges and boost their competition skills.
Minister Bajrami expressed commitment of the Government of Kosovo’s to support businesses in this path of prosperity, because this is the right path toward economic growth and increment of citizens’ welfare in our country.
