Minister of Trade and Industry, Hykmete Bajrami, hosted today in a meeting the Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Tom Adams. At this meeting, topic of discussion was the economic relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom.
Minister Bajrami informed the Deputy Ambassador Adams about the opportunities that Kosovo provides for investors. She emphasized that the reforms undertaken by the Government of Kosovo have created an appropriate climate for doing business. Mrs. Bajrami emphasized that the Government of Kosovo will continue its efforts to further improve the business environment in our country. At the same time, the Minister thanked the UK Embassy for providing support on the institutional empowerment and affirmation of Kosovo to investors from the United Kingdom.
The parties stated that the economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has plenty of room to be intensified, and expressed their commitment to increase joint engagement with the aim to further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
