Today, the minister of Trade and Industry, Bajram Hasani, hosted in the meeting Mrs. Elisa Scela, director of the Italian Trade Agency, who was accompanied by her two counterparts of the agency, which is based in the Republic of Albania and is represented by the Republic of Kosovo within the Italian Embassy in Kosovo.
Initially the participants expressed their gratitude for the reception and at the same time congratulated Minister Hasani for the new position at the head of this Ministry.
Minister Hasani expressed his admiration toward Italy and asked interested Italian investors who wish to invest in Kosovo to so, since the reforms taken by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on creating favorable doing business environment in Kosovo are ongoing and has shown progress.
Minister Hasani informed his gest that some days before was published the World Bank Doing Business Report, where Kosovo for doing business is ranked better than most countries of the region.
Representatives of the Italian Trade Agency informed Minister Hasani on the work of this agency in Albanian and expressed their readiness to support the Republic of Kosovo in several areas, such as: energy, information technology, infrastructure, etc.
