Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, in the meeting hosted the new Ambassador of Turkey in Kosovo, Çagrı Sakar, with whom they discussed about deepening the economic cooperation between the two countries.
Minister Shala said that the ministry that leads is the bearer for the implementation of the Law on Strategic Investment, mentioning that the law creates many facilities for potential investors.
"We have several Turkish companies who are interested in investing in Kosovo in the field of renewable energy and for the Republic of Kosovo any investment by the state of Turkey is welcome. I want to guarantee you for my dedication, that investors from Turkey will have all the facilities that the law allows,” said Minister Shala.
Shala stressed that cooperation with Turkey is important for Kosovo, adding that many Turkish companies have invested in Kosovo and have been successful.
While the ambassador of Turkey in Pristina stressed that Kosovo is an important country and have excellent relations.
"I want to emphasize that it is very important for us to deepen the cooperation and I believe that MTI plays an important role in this cooperation," said Ambassador Sakar.
