The Minister of Trade and Industry (MTI), Endrit Shala, together with the Mayor of Vushtrri, Xhafer Tahiri, have inaugurated the start of works in the Economic Zone in Lumadh of Vushtrri, which is an investment of MTI worth 1.3 million euro.
Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala emphasized that it being worked on improving the legal infrastructure by offering concrete offers for bringing large companies to invest their capital in Kosovo.
"We are also creating physical conditions for local and international businesses so that their activities become easier and in much better conditions. By creating conditions through sufficient physical spaces and concrete facilities, we aim to increase domestic production, open new jobs and develop the economy of the country, "said Minister Shala.
As well, the minister emphasized that construction of economic zones will also take place in other cities of Kosovo aiming to support business with physical space and low-cost rent.
Whereas, the mayor of Vushtrri, Xhafer Tahiri, said that this is the biggest investment in Vushtrri, considering it as a tremendous opportunity for businesses.
"Today, Vushtrri has received happy news, since the biggest investment is happening in the recent years. The Economic Zone has been one of our key promises and today with a cooperation of MTI and KIESA, we have started working in the economic zone. We are committed to attract businesses coming from the diaspora to create more space and offer support to the private sector and have economic development, "said Tahiri.
