Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has visited two local manufacturing companies that are exporting their products to European Union markets.
Minister Shala initially visited the company of colors and facades "Relux", which had over 30 employees and most of their products are for export.
The Minister stressed that these products are competitive in the EU markets and the ministry that run will provide assistance to local producers in order to make these companies easier to export.
"Today I was visiting the company 'Relux', in my visits I see that Kosovar producers have achieved that our products are already competitive in the European market, as is the case with the company 'Relux', where a part of its production it also exports to EU countries such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. At the same time I was informed by the owner of the company with his aim and his future plans and, also I have informed the owner about the opportunities we as a government and MTI offer potentially to Kosovo producers in order for them to have the easier export of their products and at the same time by increasing this export it will increase the economic development of our country and the opening of new jobs, "said Minister Shala.
Whereas, during the visit to the company "Kivo" in municipality of Kacanik, which exports 90% of production to European Union countries, the minister said that this producer shows that in Kosovo there is quality and people are working hard.
"This is the second visit I'm paying today in Kivo, a company of local producer that exports over 90 percent and today this company is for me the modern hero who is keeping the country's economy alive.”Kivo" has high standards of production and also handling of workers. I expressed the willingness of the Government of Kosovo and the Ministry of Trade and Industry that we will be in support of domestic production to help our country's economic development and job creation. I will soon be back in Kaçanik where will be the opening of the largest plastic recycling plant in the Balkans. I encourage you to continue with the work you are doing and generate new jobs. We are in a factory that employs over 100 people, and over 90 percent of the production is exported I assure you of the support in eliminating any barriers you may have along the way as a business, "said Minister Shala.
