Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has continued meetings with senior United Arab Emirates officials, along with his staff, on an official visit that is staying by the invitation of the Minister of Economy of this country, Mr. Sultan Bin Saeed Almansoori.
Shala, together with chief of cabinet Durim Limaj, and KIESA's chief executive, have met the Foreign Secretary for Foreign Investment at the United Arab Emirates in the Ministry of Economy, Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh.
The Minister stressed that they had a friendly discussion with Al Saleh and has informed him about the opportunities that Kosovo offers for investments, stressing that our countries are friends and this friendship we should continue to cultivate by connecting more with each other economically. "The United Emirates is an example of how a natural resource has become a tool for development, but the proper economic policies have made this resource not to be the main economic generator. We must use our human and economic capital so that we continue with the creation of appropriate policies that attract more investors, which increase employment, export and develop the country, "said Minister Shala during the meeting.
Minister Shala is staying in the United Arab Emirates at the annual investment conference on "The World Investment Platform", attended by 140 countries from different countries around the world, including the Republic of Kosovo.
