Based on the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on Emergency Fiscal Package, No.01/19, dated 30.03.2020 and the Decision of the Minister of Finance and Transfers for the Approval of the Operational Plan on Emergency Fiscal Package, dated 03.04.2020, specifically:
Measure 15 – Payment of monthly assistance, in the amount of one hundred and thirty (130) EUROS, for citizens with severe social conditions, declared as unemployed at the competent institution, who are not the beneficiaries of any monthly income from the budget of Kosovo, for the April, May and June, amounted up to three million (3,000,000.00) EUROS, we inform you that:
- Based on point 3 of this measure, the responsibility of the Employment Agency that operates within MEETIESI, where through the Employment Offices there was an opportunity to be registered as unemployed, which opportunity has been offered to all unemployed citizens and have received the same service from the Employment Offices.
- The Ministry of Finance and Transfers has drafted the Request for Monthly Assistance, emergency fiscal package – measure 15, which request must be filled in by anyone who wants to benefit from this scheme (Decision No. 35/2020, dated 15.04.2020 of the Minister of Finance and Transfers for measure 15, clarifies the steps and actions until the realization of payments for the beneficiaries.
- After being registered as unemployed and after filling in the Request for a Monthly Assistance, emergency fiscal package – measure 15, the Division for Social Assistance within the Ministry of Finance and Transfer prepares the list for verification, which list is verified with the Civil Registration Agency (CRA), Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK), with the database of Social and Pension Schemes. After this verification, will be selected the beneficiaries of measure 15.
- The financial means for this category of the beneficiaries are realized by the Ministry of Finance and Transfers.
