The Minister of Economy, Employment, Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Investments (MEETIESI), Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari received the Ambassador of Italy to Kosovo, Mr. Nicola Orlando.
At the meeting, Minister Hajdari and Ambassador Orlando discussed about the possibilities of strengthening economic connections and exchanges between Italy and Kosovo.
Minister Hajdari and Ambassador Orlando stressed that Kosovo has a lot of potential in innovation and technology and that start-ups should be supported as much as possible. Also, Minister Hajdari mentioned the interest in the development of industry, tourism by learning from the practices of Italy.
The topic of discussion was the action of the Italian Embassy for helping Kosovars to return in Italy, which work in Italian enterprises but are blocked in Kosovo.
Whereas, Minister Hajdari thanked Ambassador Orlando for Italy`s voting for Kosovo's membership in ENTSO-E, expressing gratitude for the continuous support that Italy offers to the Republic of Kosovo.
