The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade held a work meeting with manufacturers of construction products which are used for thermal insulation of buildings.
Department of Industry has presented the draft of the ADMINISTRATIVE INSTRUCTION (MIET) No.00/2021 ON DETERMINATION OF CONDITIONS FOR PLACING ON THE MARKET THERMAL INSULATION PRODUCTS FOR BUILDINGS – FACTORY MADE EXPANDED POLYSTRENE (ESP) PRODUCTS SPECIFICATION.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform the manufacturers about the requirements set out in this Administrative Instruction which derives from the law on construction products 06 / L-033. At this meeting we agreed on the creation of a unique system regarding the nomenclature and classification of these products according to the requirements of standard SK EN 13163, the increase of market surveillance activities related to the regulatory characteristics that must meet these products.
