The Substitute of the General Director of the Kosovo Business Registration Agency, Mehdi Pllashniku, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Director of the Tax Administration of Kosovo, Ilir Murtezaj, for enabling easier access to business information by TAK.
The memorandum aims to complete as soon as possible the necessary information during the investigation and security phase, and the Business Registration Agency of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade will provide access to information electronically (scanned). through the security link) in all documentation from the date of registration, including all changes that have occurred in the applications of these businesses.
The Department of Tax Investigations and Intelligence, within the Tax Administration of Kosovo, based on Law 03/L-22, on Tax Administration and Procedures is authorized to investigate criminal offenses in the field of taxation in accordance with the Code on Criminal Procedure of Kosovo under the order of the State Prosecutor.
This is the first agreement on this issue between MIET and TAK, which serves to increase transparency, making it possible to TAK have easier access to business information, which may be the target of any investigation.
