The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, received in a meeting the Ambassador of the United States of America in Kosovo, Jeffrey M. Hovenier and the Officer for Economy and Trade, Valerie Tucker.
Initially, Minister Hajdari welcomed Ambassador Hovenier and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Kosovo. At the same time Minister Hajdari thanked the United States for its continued partnership and support to the Republic of Kosovo.
Minister Rozeta Hajdari informed Ambassador Hovenier on the objectives of the ministry he leads, regarding the development of industry, innovation, entrepreneurship, tourism, as well as attracting investments, in order to increase employment and improve the trade balance based on the principles of responsibility, accountability, transparency, equality and inclusiveness.
Ambassador Hovenier confirmed the full support of the United States, with particular focus on the subjectivity of the Republic of Kosovo in the international arena, economic growth and good governance.
The parties praised the cooperation between the two friendly countries and reiterated the readiness to intensify cooperation in areas that support the economic development and Euro-Atlantic integration of the Republic of Kosovo.
