The launch of the call was organized by the Ministry of Economy, where the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, Minister of Economy Ms. Artane Rizvanolli, the Representative of the EU Office in Kosovo, Mr. Alesandro Bianciardi, and other international partners and business representatives were present.
The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari said that the launch of these measures through governmental and international support is in the best interest of businesses and the Republic of Kosovo, and on this occasion she called on businesses to take advantage of these opportunities.
Minister Hajdari said that the energy sector is a sector of strategic importance for economic and industrial development that has the potential to unfold further as one of the main drivers for socio-economic and environmental development of our country.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Mr. Albin Kurti emphasized that Kosovo stands alongside European countries in the development of policies aimed at an energy sector that is both sustainable and clean, and that always has the citizen at its center.
This investment in the renewable energy system enables the investments in the photovoltaic system (PV) for the production of electricity for self-consumption and the solar system for heating sanitary water, financed by the European Union (EU).
