According to the Minister, this work plan represents a concrete step towards the implementation of the Industrial Development Strategy, with a focus on strengthening the manufacturing and processing sector in the country.
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the main priorities, which will be continuously worked on as MIETI, for their achievement, are:
– expansion of industrial production,
– Reduction of trade deficit and increase of exports,
– creation of new jobs,
– supporting innovation and digitalization,
– the transition to green and sustainable industry,
– Increase of added value within the country.
She announced that the 2026–2028 Work Plan envisages concrete measures to support businesses through modernization, certification, access to international markets and investments in renewable technologies and energy.
The Minister added that through the development of industrial parks and strengthening the partnership with the private sector, academia and civil society, we aim to create a more favorable environment for economic development and investments.
The Minister affirmed that our policies will be aligned with the Green Agenda and the Growth Plan for Kosovo, where progress is expected in the efforts for a greener, more digital and more competitive industry in international markets.
Among other things, she stated that our commitment is to translate these objectives into concrete results during the years 2026–2028, in the service of the economy and citizens.
