The Industrial Park in Shtime, established in 2013 and expanded over 10.70 hectares, now houses 13 businesses, employing around 250 workers.
Their activities include the processing and preservation of fruits and vegetables, the production of construction materials, the processing of marble and glass, sectors with a direct impact on the country’s industrial development.
Public investments in basic infrastructure have reached around EUR 1 million, while during 2025 an additional EUR 156,354.31 were added from MIETI.
Furthermore, private investments in this park amount to approximately EUR 10 million, demonstrating the private sector’s confidence in this economic zone.
The Minister, together with the Mayor of Shtime, visited the company Loni Pergola LLC, which has 25 employees in one workplace alone, where they were closely informed about the development that this company has had over the years – a success story of this municipality.
According to Minister Kusari-Lila, the second area of the municipal park, which has been planned, is already in the development process, but requires further commitment and push forward at the institutional level, in order to fully utilize the development potential of the municipality and beyond.
The Municipality of Shtime has great potential for economic development and job creation. Support and investment in this technology park are concrete steps towards strengthening local industry and sustainable economic development.
