We focused on fostering new economic opportunities and increasing the Diaspora’s confidence to invest in the homeland, positioning Kosovo as a competitive destination for industry and entrepreneurship.
I informed Ambassador Hargreaves about the development of 12 green industrial zones, which will offer low operating costs, long-term leases and integrated services, including public-private partnerships and modern infrastructure. Our focus remains in investments and policies in energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainable water management, in line with EU standards and preparations for CBAM 2027.
The government is committed to improving the legal and regulatory framework, as well as addressing market challenges and ensuring fair competition.
Cooperation with the United Kingdom extends to key sectors such as energy, mining, technology and defense, with the aim of attracting investment and expanding opportunities for Kosovar products.
Kosovo remains open to investment, committed to reforms and ready for a sustainable economic future with international partners.
