98 inspections performed by the CIMS throughout Kosovo: Three massage centres are closed and five fines are imposed

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation hereby informs that the Central Inspectorate of Market Supervision (CIMS), in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and Central Labour Inspectorate, has these recent days performed 98 joint inspections at the massage centres and music bars throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

As a result of the lack of necessary documentation and non-compliance with working hours, three massage centres have been closed, two of which in the Municipality of Gjakova and one in the Municipality of Rahovec.

In addition, CIMS has imposed five fines on entities that have not presented the required documentation during the inspection process.

In order to guarantee the legal exercise of economic activities and compliance with applicable legislation,

CIMS, in cooperation with responsible institutions, will continue to organize joint inspection actions throughout the country.
