The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation announces that, according to official data from the Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA), during the first half of 2026, there was an increase in the number of new businesses registered compared to the same period in 2025.
According to KBRA statistics, in the period 1 January – 29 June 2026, a total of 6,834 new businesses were registered, while in the same period of the previous year, i.e., 1 January – 29 June 2025, 6,545 businesses were registered. This represents an increase of 289 businesses more compared to the first half of 2025.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation and KBRA remain committed to creating the most favourable conditions for business development and promoting a sustainable and inclusive economy.
