Today, inspections by the Central Inspectorate for Market Supervision (CIMS) continued on plant-based dairy products, which the FVA ordered for these products to be removed from the sales market in the Republic of Kosovo a few days ago.
As part of the inspections regarding the composition and declaration of dairy products and similar products, seven inspections were carried out in class B and C markets in the regions of Prishtina and Prizren in the morning. During the inspections, several products containing vegetable-based fat were noted, which were identified and, by order of the CIMS, were removed from the shelves.
The products withdrawn during the inspections are:
-Holla Schmand – 400 grams,
-Holla Cooking Cream, 1 liter,
-Magic Cream – 800 grams.
Inspections in the upcoming days will continue with the expanded list of products identified by the FVA and published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.
The products manufactured by the company Abrazen LLC – Vita Dairy, which must be withdrawn from the market immediately, are:
-Schmand, 18%, 180 g,
-Schmand, 18%, 800 g,
-Schmand, 18% fat, 400 g
-Holla Dessert 1L,
-Holla Barista, 3.8%, 1L,
-Graden Milk, 1L,
-Holla Cooking Cream, 1L,
Mushroom Cream Cheese, 200 g
-Milk “My Cow” 3.2%, 1L
-UHT milk “My Cow” 3.2%, 1L
-UHT milk “Land” 3.2%
100% white cheese 250g
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, on a daily basis, according to reports from CIMS inspectors, will inform the public about products removed from the market in order to prevent further consumer fraud.
The Central Inspectorate for Market Supervision will also continue with inspections and controls in the market, aiming at ensuring the implementation of applicable legislation and transparency of information for consumers.
At the same time, we call on all manufacturing companies to withdraw their products that contain vegetable fats, in order to protect the health of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo.
