The Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Jeton Mehmeti, participated in the Kosovo-Luxembourg Forum for Impact Financing, where the role of the financial sector in supporting businesses and the economic development of Kosovo was discussed.
Mehmeti emphasized that a stable and developed financial sector is an important partner for businesses and the economy, as it helps in mobilizing investments, supports the growth of enterprises and creates opportunities for expanding local production and increasing its competitiveness in international markets.
According to him, in order to utilize this potential, well-prepared projects, better access to financing and continuous cooperation between institutions, the financial sector and businesses are needed. These steps, said Mehmeti, are important for the economic and commercial development of Kosovo.
Deputy Minister Mehmeti thanked the institutions of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Embassy of Luxembourg in Kosovo and partners for organizing the forum and their cooperation.
