The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, participated in the Economic Meeting and B2B Fair – Lucerne 2026, organized by the Global Network of Albanian Businesses, at the invitation of the President of the Albanian Business Network in Central Switzerland, Visar Robelli.
During this event, Minister Kusari-Lila met with Albanian entrepreneurs and professionals from Switzerland, Kosovo, Albania, North Macedonia, Presheva Valley and the diaspora, with whom she discussed the importance of economic cooperation, networking of businesses and the creation of new partnerships that contribute to economic development and strengthening ties between Albanians wherever they live and work.
In her speech, the Minister emphasized the important role of the Albanian diaspora in the economic development of Kosovo, praising its continuous contribution to investments, knowledge transfer and promotion of the country’s economic opportunities.
Kusari-Lila also presented Kosovo’s potential for investment and business development, underlining the commitment of institutions to create a more favorable environment for local investors and those from the diaspora.
She announced that the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation plans to invest up to 30 million euros for the development of industrial parks in several municipalities of the country, including Gjilan, Frashëri in Mitrovica, Lipjan, Drenas, Podujeva and Shtime, in order to create better conditions for production, investments and the opening of new jobs.
In conclusion, Minister Kusari-Lila expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event and for their contribution to strengthening the network of Albanian businesses around the world, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between institutions and the diaspora for the economic development of Kosovo.
