On Friday, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Jeton Mehmeti, met with the Ambassador of Albania, Mr Petrit Malaj, with whom they discussed the deepening of economic cooperation between Kosovo and Albania, with a focus on increasing trade exchanges, cooperation through economic forums and joint initiatives, where Albania remains an important trading partner for Kosovo.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of institutional coordination to guarantee greater transparency, fairness and better functioning of the market between the two countries.
Deputy Minister Mehmeti and Ambassador Malaj assessed that Kosovo and Albania should build deeper, more practical and more beneficial cooperation for the citizens and businesses of both countries thereby strengthening our common path towards the European Union.
