At the Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA), which operates within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MINTI), during the January-April period of this year, 4,699 new businesses were registered, while 477 were closed.
During the period from January 1 to April 30, 2026, 4,699 new businesses were registered, by type of business:
1,119 – Individual Businesses;
3,561 Limited Liability Companies;
12 Branches of Foreign Companies;
6 Joint Stock Companies;
1 Foreign Representative Office.
Also, during this period, a total of 477 businesses were closed, by type of business:
371 Individual Businesses;
99 Limited Liability Companies;
6 Branches of Foreign Companies;
1 General Partnership.
