From 25 January 2024 to 25 March 2024, 51 new businesses were registered in the northern municipalities of the country, at the offices of the Kosovo Business Registration Agency (KBRA).
Agreements for the opening and consolidation of KBRA offices in North Mitrovica and Leposavic were signed with the mayors of these municipalities on 25 January 2024, while agreements for the opening and consolidation of KBRA offices in Zubin Potok and Zvecan were signed with the mayors of these municipalities on 15 March 2024.
The agreements signed with the mayors of the northern municipalities demonstrate the joint commitment to support business development in our country.
Therefore, in this fruitful context of developments, MIET/KBRA continues to strengthen cooperation with the authorities of the northern municipalities, to inform and facilitate access to programs and supportive schemes for local business development, aiming to increase socio-economic prosperity for all our citizens.
The latest numbers of new business registrations during the period 25 January 2024 – 25 March 2024:
Leposavic: 18 new businesses
Zubin Potok: 7 new businesses
Zvecan: 12 new businesses
North Mitrovica: 14 new businesses
This is an encouraging sign for the local economy and a positive step towards sustainable economic development throughout the country.
