A public meeting is held for drafting the initial Concept Paper for Business Organizations

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET) yesterday has organized a public meeting to discuss the drafting of the initial concept paper for Business Organizations.

In this meeting was discussed about the changes that are expected to occur for the possibility of avoiding some difficulties that companies are facing during their registration or management.

The issues discussed were:

  • Mandatory percentage for women in company`s boards of directors;
  • Matters related to supplementing/amending the statute and the inclusion of the board of directors as well as the authorized representative in the statute of the companies;
  • L.L.C. registration to be done with a certain capital (required by EU directive);
  • Regulation of the type of enterprises "Holding";
  • Disclosure of information of companies and their branches;
  • Submission of documents should be done only in official languages;
  • Cross-border mergers and divisions of companies;
  • Shareholders' rights;
  • Possibility to transfer officials for registration of businesses of municipal centres within KBRA/MIET.

Participants in this meeting were the representatives of MIET and other governmental institutions, as well as the representatives of business community associations.
