In the framework of the Co-funding Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and GIZ GmbH, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, signed with the Director of GIZ in Kosovo, Mr. David Oberhuber the Annex Cooperation Agreement in amount of 3 million Euros.
The purpose of this Cooperation Agreement between GIZ and MINT is for the further development and advancement of the Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren. The Innovation and Training Park (ITP) in Prizren is the most unique location in the region, which promotes cooperation in an active community between private, public sector actors, from non-governmental organizations and academia, aiming to become a regional centre for innovation and entrepreneurship, business and skills development, as well as a source of innovative and successful ideas.
During the signing ceremony, Mrs. Vera Baumann, Head of Development Cooperation from the German Embassy in Kosovo and Representative authorized by the Innovation and Training Park in Prizren, Mr. Muhamed Rexhepi, where the excellent cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Government of Germany was highlighted.
ITP Prizren creates collaborative links between different stakeholders in the park, providing an environment that fosters synergies between the private sector, the academia, the public sector and the non-governmental organizations. By connecting all these segments of the ecosystem, ITP Prizren creates a different perspective for entrepreneurship and the business environment in general, also resulting in the generation of better jobs, in terms of practical skills and knowledge, as well as better national income.
