The Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA) within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET has significantly improved its performanc) over the last three years, resulting in increased confidence among international development cooperation partners, who are now contributing funding to KIESA's grant schemes to support MSMEs with great untapped potential for the overall development of our country.
Therefore, the Clean Energy Grant Scheme will also be implemented by KIESA within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET), as part of the KSV/024 project, implemented by the Luxembourg Agency for Development Cooperation (Lux Dev) and in close cooperation with the Minister of Economy.
This scheme will benefit MSMEs, giving a focus to enterprises most affected by the open electricity market, whose projects aim to increase energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy within enterprises.
Minister Hajdari thanked the Minister of Economy, Ms. Artane Rizvanolli, for cooperation in the benefit of the private sector and good governance, and also the Head of Mission of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mr. Eric Dietz, for his support for the sustainable development of our country.
The agreement for the implementation of the Clean Energy Grant Scheme was signed by the Acting Director General of KIESA, Mr. Zef Dedaj, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, Ms. Leonita Shabani, and the Director for Programs, Expertise and Partnerships of Lux Dev, Mr. Max Glesner.
After signing the agreement, the KIESA/MIET team in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy will finalize the draft public call with relevant documents in accordance with the Administrative Instruction 01/2018 of MIET/KIESA, while the call will be addressed as soon as possible by the KIESA agency on the e-Kosova platform.
Following this, information sessions will also be organized for interested enterprises, before the launch of this scheme on the e-Kosova platform.
