On behalf of the Interministerial Committee for Strategic Investments, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, has signed the agreement for the implementation of the strategic project with the Kosmonte Foods owner, Mr. Lulzim Begaj.
This agreement aims to accomplish strategic project in the total value of 11,143,917.2 euros (eleven million one hundred and forty three thousand nine hundred and seventeen euros and twenty cents).
According to the agreement, the investment will be carried out soon, and will implement the investment project by bringing and cooperating with the German company "Zott" and Slovenian company "Perutnina Ptuj".
This strategic project is expected to create at least 300 new jobs.
The object of this agreement is the lease of the property for 99 years in the Harilaq cadastral area, Fushe Kosovo Municipality, which will be used for strategic investments in physical assets for collection, treatment, storage of fruits and vegetables, their processing and marketing of agricultural products, as well processing of poultry meat.
"Perutnina Ptuj" is expected this year to start investing in the factory and setting up the breeding of chicken birds.
The purpose of this agreement is the realization of strategic project and the determination of rights and obligations through Contracting Authority and the Investor, for implementation of the strategic project acquired by the decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the decision of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
The agreement was signed at the end of last year and paves the way for the implementation of the strategic investment which is expected to start soon.
