The Amendment of the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, and the Director of the German Agency for International Cooperation GmbH (GIZ), David Oberhuber, as well as the Authorized Representative from the Innovation and Training Park.
Minister Rozeta Hajdari has re-actualised the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the Former Ministry of Economy and Environment and the Innovation and Training Park on December 16, 2020.
This Amendment changes the purpose on spending funds, consequently the funds for the management of the Innovation and Training Park will be used for the operation, maintenance, promotion and development of ITP.
Through this cooperation, MIET and GIZ are aiming to flourish the Innovation and Training Park with many German and international businesses, as Kosovo offers competitive potentials as an investment destination for foreign businessmen, which include: Euro official currency, legislation in accordance with legislation of the EU, simple and favourable tax system, stable banking system, young population as a well-educated and multi-lingual workforce, geographical location with developed road, digital infrastructure and close access to seaports of Albania, etc.
The parties praised the partnership so far and expressed their commitment to the development of innovation, entrepreneurship, etc.
