An Annex –Agreement between Kosovo and Albania has been signed on metrology

A delegation led by General Director of the Albanian Metrology Directory (DMSH), Petrit Rama, visited the Ministry of Trade and Industry, where they were hosted from MTI’s Acting Minister Mr. Avni Kastrati and General Director of the Kosovo Metrology Agency, Mr. Blerim Sokoli.

 

Initially, the Albanian Delegation met MTI’s Acting Minister, Mr. Avni Kastrati where they exchanged ideas and operation models in regard to functioning of accreditation in general. Afterword, Mr. Rama and Mr. Sokoli signed an annex-agreement in behalf of Albanian Metrology Directory and Kosovo Metrology Agency.    

Blerim Sokoli, KMA’s Director on this occasion stated the importance of reaching at this point and considering that in question is a continuation of arrangements reached a year ago.    
“Despite the great desire of both parties to come in to other stage, from words to actions, let this moment be a solemn renewal of an agreement already concluded”, said Sokoli by adding that the agreement can be turned into reality and this moment let it be only a formal meeting of cooperation between two parties. 
Sokoli stated that this kind of cooperation will be in future as well. 

While, Petrit Rama, AMD General Director said that together with whole Albanian Metrology team, Albania and Kosovo metrology will do a better job in field of metrology.
“The Albanian Metrology General Director since 2012 in its focus has had cooperation with Kosovo, despite the fact that up to day it has remained only in paper. In my name and your team I believe that we should promise to each-other that this agreement will not remain only in paper, but in all aspects of cooperation will result as successful”, said Rama by expressing the will for constant cooperation among two metrology institutions.
