The “Axians” and “VINCI Energies” companies have opened their Head Office in Pristina, which, besides Kosovo, will be a centre for the Western Balkans countries, and with its services will also cover Germany, Switzerland and other European countries. “Axians” is an internationally renowned company that supports its clients – private-sector companies, public-sector entities, operators and service providers — in their infrastructures and digital solutions development, offers a comprehensive range of ICT solutions and services spanning business applications and data analytics, enterprise networks and digital workspaces, datacenters and cloud service, telecommunication infrastructures and cybersecurity. “Axians” operates in 35 countries around the world, with an annual income balance of over 3.3 billion Euros and with over 14,000 employees.
In addition to establishing its main centre in Pristina, the company has also started the construction of the ICT Academy building in Gjakova, which they intend to complete during 2024.
Congratulating the investors, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, stated that the sector she is heading has put at a complete disposal its capacities for a deserved treatment of all the domestic and foreign investors, by working with a strong will and preparing a structure of entrepreneurs that the best responds to time and the planetary economic development needs.

The Head of the Ministry of Industry of Kosovo, stressed out that it’s a great pleasure for her to be present at the opening of the "Axian" Head Office in Kosovo. "In our country, which will now be also your country, since as they say, the globalization has turned the world into a small village. The significance of your company's presence in Kosovo shows a proof that we are on the right path to building a favourable environment for foreign investments. And a proof of this is the increased number of registered businesses in our country." “During two years of our governance, in Kosovo Business Registration Agency we have registered 1,873 new businesses with foreign owners, and just in the first four months of 2023, we have registered 300 businesses with foreign owners" added Minister Hajdari.
She also stated that during 2022, quite positive results have been achieved in the export of goods and services as a result of the serious commitment to the general improvement of the entrepreneurial climate. "While we are finalizing the Law on Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Law on establishment of the Innovation Fund in order to support even more our youth, who with their creativity and quality work, only in 2022, have pushed the growth rate of the export of services at a record value of over 2.5 billion Euros, or a 32% increase compared to 2021, and 153% increase compared to 2020" pointed out Ms. Hajdari.
The list of completed duties which are making progress and creating comprehensive development is much longer, she said. The Minister added that during next week Kosovo will sign an agreement for participation in the European Union "Common Market" Program for the period 2021-2027 that weighs a total of 4.2 billion Euros, and from which fund the innovative Kosovar businesses, through applying to open calls, can benefit by taking advantage of this excellent opportunity and can be beneficiaries and achieve their visionary goals. At the end, Minister Hajdari said that MIET will always be committed to improving the general conditions of doing business in Kosovo, will support businesses and advocate for addressing and solving their problems both at local and international institutions level.
