The joint operation led to the inspection of 114 economic entities, specifically 67 economic operators engaged in commercial activities – body care services (massage centers) and 47 economic operators involved in entertainment and recreational activities (nightclubs).
In accordance with their legal competencies, the inspectors of the Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate temporarily closed 30 economic operators across the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo. These closures were due to the lack of business registration and the absence of approvals/decisions confirming compliance with minimum technical conditions.
Against economic operators conducting activities in violation of the law, 33 punitive measures were imposed in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate, in line with its legal authority, will continue inspections in the coming days. If violations are found, appropriate measures will be taken to suspend such activities.
