The cooperation between the former Ministry of Trade and Industry – KIESA and the Publishing House “Petit Fute” has existed since February 11, 2016, with the signing of the agreement between the two parties for the support of drafting, designing, printing and publishing 1,500 copies of the brochure for tourist attractions in Kosovo, adapted for French tourists.
In the current government, on February 9, 2022, through an official communication from the Publishing House "Petit Fute", the Department of Industry and then KIESA were contacted, regarding the continuation of cooperation for the promotion of Kosovo's tourism capacities in France.
KIESA has continued direct communication with the Publishing House "Petit Fute" and has confirmed the cooperation agreement for the promotion of potential tourism activities in Kosovo.
In communication with the representatives of the Publishing House "Petit Fute" dated on 09.08.2022, KIESA has sent the informative document on the potentials of the Republic of Kosovo to be published in the "Petit Fute" catalogue. The only text sent by KIESA to the publishing house "Petit Fute" is open for publication and does not contain anything from the writings published on pages 94 and 95 of the catalogue published by the publishing house "Petit Fute".
On 18.08.2022, the Publishing House "Petit Fute" sent another version of KIESA`s promotional document, for which it requested comments. On 19.08.2022, KIESA reacted to the completely changed draft by reminding the Publishing House that the material sent by "Petit Fute" is not at all based on the text sent by KIESA, and has re-sent the same text in the attachment sent earlier on 09.08.2022.
On 28.09.2022, KIESA rejected the final publication of the document in question and asked the Publishing House "Petit Fute" to get approval from KIESA before publishing any article. Despite this, the Publishing House "Petit Fute" has not sent the article with the necessary corrections for approval and payment by KIESA, although it was promised that the text will be corrected and edited according to the original text sent by KIESA.
In this circumstance created to the detriment of our ancient national history, the publication of the Publishing House "Petit Fute" that is unapproved and unpaid by MIET-KIESA, that completely distort our national history, despite our request for corrections and the promises from the Publishing House "Petit Fute", for editing and sending the text for approval by KIESA, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade will follow legal ways to address the damage caused.
