At the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), representatives of the Market Inspectorate met with inspectors of municipal inspectorates, as well as with the Executive Director of the Association of Kosovo Municipalities, Sazan Ibrahimi, to coordinate inspections to combat the pandemic Covid-19.
According to the Chief Inspector of Market, Lulzim Syla, in the continuation of the usual inspections, joint inspections will start again in the entire territory of Kosovo to see how much the anti-Covid-19 rules are being respected.
Chief Inspector Syla announced that these inspections will be coordinated with the police, municipal inspectors, as well as with inspectors of the Food and Veterinary Agency and within these inspections there will be inspections in Kosovo institutions too, at all levels, for see how the measures of the competent institutions are being implemented to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Whereas, the Acting Secretary General of MTI, Gentiana Islamaj pledged to make available all supporting mechanisms to support inspectors and other law enforcement representatives in respecting the measures for preventing the spread of Covid – 19.
