Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mr. Mentor Arifaj spoke at the Digital Transformation conference organized by Art House company
Deputy Minister Arifaj said that today we are witnessing technological changes and advancements never seen before in the world of humanity, and these changes are reformulating the industry, and are affecting the way of thinking and living.
He added that technologies such as artificial intelligence, the internet of things, blockchain, big data, cloud computing have opened new opportunities for all sectors, but their use will require new visions and new leaders who do not agree with today’s status quo, but will rather constantly promise to practice innovation which will facilitate life and work.
For this purpose, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade are constantly supporting digital transformation in government services as well as the private sector in this regard, added Arifaj.
The Deputy Minister said that work is also being done on the drafting of the law on innovation and entrepreneurship, with the aim of establishing the innovation fund, which will not only provide financial opportunities for innovators and young entrepreneurs, but will also provide support in the various stages of advanced development of innovation and entrepreneurship.
