Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, Mr. Mentor Arifaj, has received in a meeting Ms. Signe Ratso, director of the Directorate – General for Research and Innovation in the European Commission.
Arifaj has informed the guest in detail about MINT's commitments to improving the field of innovation, the assistance that it is giving to entrepreneurs, and the plans that are envisaged in the near future for the development of this very important branch for the economy of our country.
Ms. Ratso appreciated the continuous efforts of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in improving the general conditions and supporting enterprises and innovation in their growth and consolidation. She said that Kosovo has a young and creative population, by considering this a sound potential for the development of the innovation sector and consequently for the economy of Kosovo.
Ms. Ratso also stated that Kosovo can participate in “Horizon” Programmes that are related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
