Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Mr. Mentor Arifaj, received in a meeting the Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Besart Kadia, the Ambassador of Albania to Kosovo, Mr. Petrit Malaj, the Director of Economic Diplomacy (MEFA), Ms. Silvana Leskaj, Advisor Ms. Pranvera Teli and Specialist in the Directorate of Economic Diplomacy at MEFA, Mr. Serxho Matraku.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere with the focus of the discussion being the strengthening of economic cooperation and addressing trade barriers between the Republic of Kosovo and Albania.
The parties also discussed the current progress in the implementation of bilateral agreements and simultaneously presented their ideas for deepening economic cooperation in relevant new areas.
Deputy Minister Arifaj thanked the attendees for the open discussions at the meeting and expressed his readiness to strengthen economic and trade relations between Kosovo and Albania.
