Deputy Minister Fadil Arifi hosted business representatives from Switzerland and Greece

​​​​​​​Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Fadil Arifi, together with the Advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mervan Rexhepi, the Head of the Tourism Division, Lumturije Geci, and KIESA’s Official for Export Promotion, Kreshnik Rugova, hosted a delegation from Switzerland and Greece. The delegation was also hosted by representatives of the Switzerland-Kosovo Chamber of Commerce and Services. 

During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of tourism, specifically in the field of promotion of tourism and marketing. Deputy Minister Arifi presented before the guests the achievements of MTI in the field of tourism and in other fields and informed them about the plans for the future. Also, Xenia Vasilliadis, representative of the company "TripElina", made a presentation of the implemented projects as well as of the possible projects for Kosovo.

Lumturie Geci then presented the tourism potentials, the values and opportunities in tourism. She also presented the priorities and initiatives of the Tourism Department for tourism development. 

Jean Skeparnias, member of the Chamber of Commerce, and Yves Marchand, a Swiss famous businessman, also discussed the possibilities of cooperation in the field of agriculture. He made a presentation about tracking systems at company and institution level worldwide. On this occasion, Kreshnik Rugova discussed KIESA's export promotion activities as well as the investment opportunities in Kosovo.

Deputy Minister Fadil Arifi expressed before this delegation the readiness of MTI to provide any information and cooperation regarding potential investments in Kosovo from Switzerland and Greece.
