Congratulating on for their work, Deputy Minister Makreshi emphasized the importance of each contributor to Kosovo’s tourism sector, adding that during the last three years, Kosovo has become more and more popular as a tourist destination and the trend of the number of tourists has increased from year to year like never before.
Makreshi also presented some of the concrete achievements made by MIET with special emphasis on the Law on Tourism and by-laws, the Tourism Strategy and Action Plan, the Tourism Register, etc.
Kosovo has potential in offering a variety of tourist attractions, therefore we aim to develop sustainable tourism even more, through cultural tourism and natural tourism, through the expansion of the tourist offer, improvement of infrastructure, digitization and drafting of cross-sectoral plans, etc., has emphasized the deputy minister of MIET Mr. Resul Makreshi.
