The Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Jeton Mehmeti, participated in the “Anamorava 2026” Economic Forum, organized in Gjilan, where institutions, businesses, universities, investors and the diaspora discussed opportunities for the economic development of the region.
In his speech, Deputy Minister Mehmeti emphasized the economic potential of Anamorava region and the importance of transforming this potential into concrete investments, quality jobs and more competitive businesses.
Special attention during the forum was paid to the Industrial and Technological Park in Gjilan, declared of public interest by Decision of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo. The proposed area of 146.5 hectares creates opportunities for the development of manufacturing, construction, professional and technological activities, as well as for the expansion of existing enterprises and the attraction of new investments.
Mehmeti emphasized that realizing this potential requires good planning, appropriate infrastructure, and continuous cooperation between institutions, the private sector, and universities. According to him, such forums create space to listen to the needs of businesses, build partnerships, and transform dialogue into concrete steps.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation remains committed to cooperation with municipalities, Chamber of Commerce, universities and the business community, with the aim of supporting a more sustainable and competitive economy.
Deputy Minister Mehmeti thanked the organizers and participants for their contribution and the discussions held during the “Anamorava 2026” Economic Forum.
