Deputy Minister Mehmeti participated in the 3rd Sustainable Investment Forum

The Deputy Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Jeton Mehmeti, participated in the 3rd Sustainable Investment Forum, organized by the European Investors Council in Kosovo, where he presented the Ministry’s vision and priorities for the sustainable economic development of the Republic of Kosovo.

During his speech, Deputy Minister Mehmeti emphasized that Kosovo is entering a new phase of economic development, where the focus is not only on attracting investments, but also on directing them towards value-added sectors such as production, innovation, processing industry, technology and increasing exports.

He underlined that through economic reforms, the Law on Sustainable Investments and the plan for the development of 14 Green Industrial Parks, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation is aiming to create a more competitive and attractive environment for local and international investors.

According to him, these policies are oriented towards building a sustainable economic model, which supports the growth of local production, strengthening of industry and expansion of Kosovo’s exports to international markets.

Deputy Minister Mehmeti thanked the European Investors Council in Kosovo and its executive director, Emrush Ujkani, for organizing the forum and for the continuous contribution to strengthening cooperation between public institutions and the private sector in the country.
