Deputy Minister Nehat Mustafa attended the 20th Eurasian Economic Summit

Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Nehat Mustafa, attended the 20th Eurasian Economic Summit,

held from 4 to 6 April 2017 in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Eurasian Economic Summit aims to foster ways of enhancing relations between the European Union

and the Central Asian, African and American countries.

The summit was organized by the Marmara Group Foundation, whose agenda contained current topics

that were discussed in panels with world class leaders. Also, in the panels of discussion also participated

public policy makers and distinguished speakers from the public, private sector and the Academy.

Attention was paid also to the discussions of the Kosovo Government ministers, Edita Tahiri and Mahir

Jagxhillar.

During this Summit, Deputy Minister Nehat Mustafa met with diplomats and businessmen from the EU

countries, Balkans, America, Africa and China, with whom he shared the achievements and reforms the

institutions of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo have made in terms of economic, political, and

European integration. Separate meetings were with President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, and former

President Bamir Topi, as well as former Croatian President, Stipe Mesic.

Also, Deputy Minister Mustafa had the opportunity to have meetings with representatives of the

Albanian Diaspora from the European Union countries and Turkey, with whom he discussed on the best

ways to establish and further strengthen the bridges of cooperation in the economic field.
