The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi visited the municipality of Vushtrri, where he was received by the mayor of this municipality, Xhafer Tahiri.
After discussions in the municipality, Minister Krasniqi, together with Mayor Tahiri, have visited the Economic Zone in this municipality to see closely the dynamics of the works that are being done in this area.
Minister Krasniqi said that the Economic Zone in Vushtrri will be a good opportunity for businesses, promising that the remaining works will be finalized at the end of November.
"We are in an Economic Zone, which will offer to Vushtrri many good opportunities, especially to businesses that are interested in producing. I believe that by the end of November we will finalize it and there will be an opportunity for the municipality to benefit from 23 manufacturing businesses", stated Minister Krasniqi.
The head of MTI, Vesel Krasniqi, said that it was discussed about two investors who will turn the municipality of Vushtrri into a promising area for businesses.
"In the municipality, during the meeting we have discussed about two investors who are very important, strategic investors, who will have the opportunity to invest in your municipality, thus the municipality of Vushtrri will turn into a business area, a promising area for manufacturing businesses and commercial ones” says Krasniqi.
Minister Krasniqi said that this is not the last zone since new economic zones will be created in other municipalities, where space will be given to all businesses in each municipality for having the opportunity to exercise their activity.
The Mayor of Vushtrri, Xhafer Tahiri, thanked Minister Krasniqi for the cooperation and willingness for investment. He also mentioned the strategic investments that are being made in this municipality.
"These two investments are expected to be completed within 5 years and of course the minister has given a new impetus and I am happy that the municipality of Vushtrri will be beneficiary of the private sector, which will transform Vushtrri and give it more value to Kosovo as well ", said Tahiri.
