After sampling, the quantities of the two types of cheese produced in North Macedonia were inaccurate.
Two types of cheese have resulted in inaccurate amounts. The samples were taken in a business in Prishtina, during the visit of the Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, in the second half of the last month.
MTI officials after the expertise of the products have concluded that the quantity described in the packaging does not correspond to the real quantity of the product and in this way the consumer has been deceived.
The Minister is interested in the quality of food, especially for dairy products, after receiving complaints from various associations in this field.
"Support for businesses will not be lacking, and consumer rights will not be allowed to be violated," said Minister Krasniqi.
Krasniqi emphasized that the main focus will be the protection of consumers and local producers.
