CEFTA Week will be held from 1 to 3 December 2023 in Pristina, where Minister Hajdari, as Chair of the CEFTA Joint Committee for 2025, together with the Director of the CEFTA Secretariat, Ms. Pranvera Kastrati, held an open discussion with students from the University of Pristina (UP) and the South East European University of Tetovo (SEEU), reflecting together on CEFTA's progressive path towards the EU.
The session was very dynamic with concrete questions from young people, regarding the impact of CEFTA decisions on trade facilitation based on the needs of businesses, as well as on strengthening trade relations between CEFTA parties.
Subsequently, students from UP and SEEU shared their visions for the coming years of CEFTA, discussing how deeper economic integration can accelerate progress towards EU membership and what changes they hope to see for their generation, as CEFTA continues to drive economic and social progress along the way.
Today’s agenda, will continue with the review and adoption of four decisions of the CEFTA Joint Committee, under the chairmanship of Kosovo.
