Companies from Kosovo presented their potential in the field of information technology at the prestigious “Slush 2024” fair, which was held in Helsinki, Finland, from November 20 to 21, 2024.
With the support of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET), specifically the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), the companies: Tenton, Banaku, Astech, Appbites, Tretek, XY Cyber, KehaRing and Connected Inventions presented their products and services to an international audience of professionals and investors.
The Kosovo stand attracted great attention from visitors, reflecting the interest of the global community in the innovations offered by these companies in the ICT sector.
This fair, which is one of the largest for start-ups and technology, is an ideal platform for Kosovo companies to strengthen their position in international markets and create new business connections.
During the visit to Finland, the Kosovo delegation also held meetings with representatives of the Finnish government, namely the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this country. An important meeting was held with Ms. Inkeri Virtanen-Abernethy, Head of the Western Balkans, where they discussed the promotion of Kosovo as an attractive destination for foreign investments, as well as the growing opportunities offered by the ICT industry, exports and tourism of the country. Participation in fairs such as “Slush” is evidence of Kosovo’s commitment to keeping up with global developments, thus creating a stronger basis for economic growth and integration into international markets.
