Today, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Mr. Nehat Mustafa, and his associates, received today in a working meeting Mr. Luc Triangle, Secretary General of IndustriAll Europe.
Mr. Luc was accompanied by SPMK and SPEK counterparts.
He, after presenting a brief overview of the association he represents, was focused on its influence on the pace of industrial development within the European Union and the European Commission.
By providing concrete details in this regard, he noted that such developments are not without influence even in the social welfare plan. Always seeing Kosovo within the orbit of the EU, Mr Luc, inter alia, was interested in the legal framework of Kosovo that addresses this issue.
When it comes to the resources and foreign investors in the country, he found it interesting to point out the shortcomings that appear in this process, especially focusing on security and corruption issues.
On his part, Deputy Minister of MTI, Nehat Mustafa, briefly described developments in this field in the Republic of Kosovo, revealing especially successful efforts of Kosovo following the signing of Stabilization and Association Agreement with the European Union. He also mentioned that in this regard a wide range of documents were drafted and approved, such as the National Development Strategy 2017-2021 and many other documents.
Upon this meeting it was raised the need for more frequent contacts with regards to mutual information and coordination of actions related to industrial development as one of the main pillars of a country's overall development.
