Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade (MIET), during the last months, has received many complaints from consumers, who have complained about services and payments executed to the account of an Economic Operator (OE) “VisaMetric” L.L.C in Prishtina, on behalf of Schengen Visa application services in order to travel to Germany.
Market Inspectorate in MINT has reviewed all complaints received from consumers, has also inspected an economic operator "VisaMetric" L.L.C in Prishtina, and has handled all received complaints by deciding in the favour of consumers.
Market Inspectorate in MINT has visited and met with Heads of an economic operator "VisaMetric" L.L.C in Prishtina, who have expressed their willingness for cooperation and provision of services to consumers, in accordance with applicable laws in the Republic of Kosova, by admitting that they will re-reimburse the customers who have made complains. On the detected violations, Market Inspectorate has undertaken actions in accordance with applicable laws in the Republic of Kosova.
Taking into account that there may be a large number of citizens/consumers who are seeking services to apply for Schengen Visa at economic operators, and upon conducting payments that they consider to be unreasonable, or even in other cases that they consider as violation of their rights, we encourage citizens to always address to the Consumer Protection Department.
