Minister of MIETI, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, said that the protection of trademarks, patents and industrial designs enables businesses and organizations to secure their identity and develop their activity in a sustainable manner.
She also highlighted the progress made by the Industrial Property Agency in improving services and increasing the efficiency of procedures, facilitating access for businesses and citizens.
In particular, the importance of trademark protection in the sports sector was emphasized, as a key element for building the identity, credibility and commercial development of sports clubs.
Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized that the Ministry remains committed to strengthening the intellectual property system and creating a favourable environment for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The celebration of World Intellectual Property Day was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Nora Arapi Krasniqi, and the Director General of Kosovo Customs, Agron Llugaliu.
