Organized by Kosovo Tourism Union, the International Tourism Fair Kosovo 2022 was opened for the first time.
In her welcoming speech at the opening of the fair, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari said that the Republic of Kosovo has much to present from tourism, especially from cultural and natural tourism.
"Tourism is one of the sectors that brings stability to our country, impacts the growth of employment and offers guarantees for our young people. “Tourism is one of the key priorities for our government, thus through tourism, which is a chain of values and potentials, will be created opportunities for the development of our country," added Minister Hajdari.
Minister Hajdari emphasized that the new tourism law approved by the Government and the tourism strategy that is now in the process of finalization, will highlight the values and potentials of our country and will bring more opportunities for cooperation with countries in the region. She stated that they are working on creating the tourism brand of the Republic of Kosovo and at the same time I ask for communication and close coordination to get the best inputs from all tourism actors, for the new tourism brand in Kosovo.
This fair has a special emphasis on the promotion of tourism in Kosovo, as well as in creating stronger cooperation links with various tourism entities in the region and beyond.
